Head, Works DepartmentThe Works Department is responsible for the development, maintenance, and management of infrastructure within the District. It ensures the provision of safe and sustainable public facilities.
The department oversees the construction and maintenance of roads, public buildings, drainage systems, and other physical infrastructure to support socio-economic development.
It also provides technical support to the Assembly in engineering, project planning, and implementation of development projects.
The Works Department collaborates with other departments and agencies to ensure compliance with engineering standards and environmental safety.
